Consultation Agreement for Certification in EMDRConsultation Agreement • February 26th, 2019
Consultee, with individual, and/or group consultation in EMDR. There are several requirements by EMDRIA to become EMDRIA certified which the Consultee can find at EMDRIA.org and is responsible to make his/herself aware of. The focus of this agreement is solely on the Consultation aspect of EMDRIA certification. Please note that EMDRIA requires 20 hours of consultation, and 10 of those hours must be individual consultation. Consultants-in-Training can provide up to 15 of the 20 hours of consultation required to become EMDRIA Certified. The remaining 5 hours of consultation must come from an Approved Consultant in EMDR. To become EDMRIA certified, EMDRIA also requires at least 1 letter of recommendation from an Approved Consultant regarding utilization of RMDR with clients. If using more than one Consultant, please notify this Consultant-in-Training in advance.
