The general purpose of this Agreement is to establish and maintain collective bargaining relations between the Society and its employees, and subject to the fulfilling of the objectives of the Society to deliver mandated child protectionservice in accordance with the Child and Services as amended, and to establish and maintain mutually satisfactory working conditions, hours of work and wages for all employees who are subject to the provisions of this agreement and further to provide proceduresfor the prompt and equitable disposition of grievances. It is recognizedthat all parties to this agreement will work collaboratively to achieve the Society's objectives and to promote the best interests, protection and well-being of children and youth.
