The Longmile Stewardship Contract is located within T44N, R05W, Sec: 7, 16-18; T44N, R06W, Sec: 11-13, Bayfield County, WI. The Forest Service will be accepting sealed bids at the Great Divide Ranger District, Glidden Office 22223 Hwy 13 Glidden, WI 54527 at 11:00 AM local time on 05/15/2018 for an estimated volume of 726 CCF of Mixed Hardwood sawtimber, 628 CCF of Aspen pulpwood, 83 CCF of Balsam Fir pulpwood, and 3,898 CCF of Mixed Hardwood pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. There is 1.3 miles of specified road Construction. In addition, there is an estimated quantity of 501 acres of Canopy Gap Cleaning, identified as Mandatory Stewardship Service Items that must be performed under the contract.
