Grantee, as a circuit sponsor on behalf of the Towns of Goldsboro, Henderson, Hillsboro, Marydel and Templeville has applied to the Department for grant assistance under the Maryland Town Manager Circuit Rider Program (the "Program") administered by the Division of Neighborhood Revitalization (the "Division"), a division of the Department, to undertake activities which are consistent with the provisions of the Housing and Community Development Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, Section 2-102(8), as amended (the "Act"), and the regulations promulgated thereunder at Code of Maryland Regulations 05.13.03 (the "Regulations"). The Department, in reliance upon the representations and certifications contained in Grantee’s application for grant assistance dated June 15, 2016 (the "Application"), has approved an award of grant funds to Grantee, to be expended by Grantee in conformity with the requirements and provisions of the Act, the Regulations, and this Agreement.
