The general purpose of this Agreement is, in the mutual interests of the Company and its employees, to provide the most reasonable and efficient operations under methods which will further, to the fullest extent possible, the safety and welfare of the employees and economy of operation. It is by this Agreement to be the duty of the Union, the Company and the employees to co-operate fully, individually and collectively, for the advancement of these conditions.
