This further agreement shall be read as one with the agreement published in Statutory Instrument 1 of 1999 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal agreement”), made and entered into in accordance with the provisions of the Labour Relations Act [Chapter 28:01], between the Zimbabwe Clothing Manufacturers’ Association and the Indigenous Clothing Manufacturers; Association (hereinafter referred to as “the employers” or the “the employer’ organisation”) of the one part, and the National Union of the Clothing Industry and the Clothing Industry Workers’ Union (hereinafter referred to as the employees” or “the trade unions”) of the other part, being parties to the National Employment Council for the Clothing Industry.
