The Glenview Public Schools shall assist parents in fulfilling their responsibilities by providing a quality educational program which is based on the premise that each child can learn. Primary emphasis shall be placed on learning which will prepare children for success in the future as mature, productive adults. Recognizing the aspirations of the community and the needs of each student, a comprehensive educational program shall be provided within a nurturing and supportive environment. The program shall assist each child to develop the ability to think creatively, solve problems of greater complexity as the child matures, recognize one’s role in a democratic society which interfaces with a complex and varied world culture, develop positive relationships and be adaptable to the changes to which society and the student will be subjected with greater frequency.
