Extended reality (XR) is a term referring to all real-and-virtual combined environments and human-machine interactions generated by computer technology and wearables. It includes representative forms such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mixed reality (MR). Due to the unpredictable nature of the human response to extended reality, this agreement releases Towson University from all liability relating to injuries that may occur from the use of extended reality (AR/VR/MR) technologies. We require all participants (child/ dependent/minor) to sign this waiver releasing Towson University from associated liability.
