This Oversight Agreement has been drawn up by the Department of Justice ("the Department") in consultation with the Irish Film Classification Office in accordance with the 2016 edition of the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies ("Code of Practice"). It, together with the separate but related Performance Delivery Agreement (PDA), succeeds the previous Oversight Agreement 2020-2022 between the two parties.
