In consideration of this internship opportunity and the valuable experience I hope to gain, I hereby make the following agreement: 1. I agree, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, and representatives, to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Cornell University, and its trustees, officers, agents and employees from any and all liability, damage, claim of any nature whatsoever arising out of or in any way related to my participation in this internship, except in the event of gross negligence directly attributed to Cornell University. I understand that Cornell University does not provide any accident or medical insurance and that I am required to provide my own accident and medical insurance. I hereby agree that I am financially responsible for all such expenses.
