The purpose of this Agreement is to establish and maintain satisfactory working conditions, hours and wages, to provide an amicable method of settling differences or grievances which might arise and to maintain relations between the Company and all employees covered by this Agreement. However, this preamble shall not conflict with contractual arrangements as set out in the body of the Agreement.
