This document shall hereinafter be known as the INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT for the service delivery of ad valorem tax billing and collection by the DEKALB COUNTY TAX COMMISSIONER (the “Agreement”), made by and between the CITY OF STONE MOUNTAIN (hereinafter the “City”), a municipal corporation chartered by the State of Georgia and DEKALB COUNTY, GEORGIA, a political subdivision of the State of Georgia (hereinafter “County”) on behalf of the DEKALB COUNTY TAX COMMISSIONER (hereinafter “Tax Commissioner”) (hereinafter, collectively, the “parties”), each of whom has been duly authorized to enter into the Agreement.
