These materials are referred to as ‘potentially hazardous’ because they are only hazardous if used inappropriately. There is ABSOLUTELY NO place in Forensics for unsafe lab practices. You will BE SAFE OR BE REMOVED FROM LAB. As a guide, you are receiving this lab contract tailored specifically for Forensic Science students. It contains rules for safe behavior in the forensics classroom. Read this contract carefully. Have your parents read it. Then you both must sign it and return it to me. Only after I have your signed copy of this agreement will you participate in any lab activities.
