The Medical Staff Health Committee (MSHC) has developed a monitoring program for the Medical Staff of Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center. The Program is supportive and designed to protect the safety and welfare of our patients while aiding members with medical (including chronic pain), psychiatric, behavioral and/or substance-use related problems that impair their ability to work and function at their best. The success of the Program is dependent upon a commitment by the member to participate in all aspects of the Program, as well as the ability of the MSHC to monitor the member’s progress. This agreement will be adapted depending on whether it is a substance use, medical or mental health concern.

The success of the Program is dependent upon a commitment by the member to participate in all aspects of the Program, as well as the ability of MSHC to monitor the member’s progress.
