Contract Type FiledDecember 3rd, 2024This General Agreement (Agreement) is entered into between the United States Department of the Interior (Department) and the Library of Congress (Library), a federal entity that is the world’s largest library (collectively, the Parties, and each individually, a Party) for the purpose of cooperating to establish and preserve a collection of oral histories relating to the federal boarding school and its impacts on Indigenous children and their communities, with the goal to ensure stories and experiences that survivors share can be heard by, and learned from, current and future generations (“the Project”).
