In these reactions, M may be Fe or Ru and L may be either a second 2,4-dimethylpentadienyl ligand (2,4-C7H11) or a less reactive, aromatic cyclopentadienyl ligand (C5H5). To date we do not have an appropriate Co analogue to the above, although we have found an alternative that will be described later in the report.
