The Alvernia University Physical Education Center (PEC) provides a weight room and fitness center for use by Alvernia University students, faculty and alumni (Participant). The weight room and fitness center in the PEC have been designed to provide a means of exercise and recreation at the optimum level of safety and personal satisfaction for the Participant. Nevertheless, due to the equipment utilized and the nature of the activities engaged in by a Participant at the PEC, there exists an inherent risk of injury for participating in strength, fitness, aerobic and other exercise activities at the PEC.
