This agreement pertains only to recruits attending the Basic Course for Police Officer at the Institute, and is a requirement for the Institute to accept recruits from the agency named above. The sending agency agrees to withdraw recruit(s) who would otherwise be dismissed from the Bergen County Law & Public Safety Institute, when the sending agency recruit; fails a functional area, commits an honor code violation, or Institute policy violation which would be an offense requiring dismissal, fails to fully and safely participate in physical training, fails firearms training or qualification, or has an injury which will not allow the recruit to properly participate in physical or defensive tactics training. Recruits will be required to be withdrawn, by the sending agency, after the remedial testing process is completed and the recruit fails the remedial test for academic or firearms related Functional Areas.
