Is a Registered Motor Carrier of Property authorized to provide transportation of property under contracts with shippers and receivers and/or brokers of general commodities. (“Registered” means operated under authority issued by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (“FMCSA”) or its predecessor agencies, within the U.S. Department of Transportation, or under a National Safety Code Number and Safety Rating issued by the applicable Provincial Authority in a province or territory in Canada, or pursuant to any other required authority.
