This Confidential Retirement Agreement and General Release (“Agreement”), entered into by and between Charles H. Turner (“you” or the “Employee”), Pier 1 Services Company (“Company”) and Pier 1 Imports, Inc. (“Parent”) (collectively, the “Parties”) as of the Effective Date (as defined below), arises from your retirement and the associated termination of your employment relationship with the Company.
