WHEREAS the County wishes to provide an enhanced level of provincial policing service and the Province of Alberta, Minister of Justice and Solicitor General has previously entered into such an Agreement with the County, dated the 5th day of September 2017, pursuant to Section 22(1) of the Police Act R.S.A. 2000, c.P-17;
