Provide funds to establish and facilitate a Community of Practice (CoP) that would engage CPE staff and teams of campus leaders and mental health professionals from each of the eight state university campuses and the 16 community and technical colleges across the state. Through the CoP, participating institutions will build their knowledge of comprehensive mental health systems and best practices in suicide prevention. Campuses will be able to share promising practices with each other to reduce the time it takes to develop and implement certain policies, programs, and procedures, especiallyfor lower- resourced campuses where staff often do not have the capacity to focus on prevention efforts.
