Homeowner Damage. Damage, loss or injury caused by Homeowner, ordinary wear and tear, or lack of proper Homeowner maintenance, including Homeowner’s failure to minimize or prevent damage in a timely manner. Any damage caused or exacerbated by your failure to properly maintain your Home and your Property is not covered by this Warranty. In addition, you are required to take any action necessary to mitigate damages resulting from a defect.
