Contract Type FiledMay 13th, 2021This Umbrella Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement” or “Umbrella Agreement”) shall be for the purpose of conducting mutually beneficial flight safety research enabling the development and operation of increasingly autonomous systems with efforts related to assurance of flight critical systems (including airborne and ground software systems), human- autonomy teaming and efficient airspace operations. The safety assurance research under this Umbrella agreement may potentially reduce costs for the development and certification of flight critical systems and autonomous systems. The Parties shall execute one (1) Annex Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Annex”) concurrently with this Umbrella Agreement. The Parties may execute subsequent Annexes under this Umbrella Agreement consistent with the purpose and terms of this Umbrella Agreement. Annexes under this Umbrella Agreement may be executed by any NASA Center.

The Parties expect the results of these activities will promote public confidence in AAM safety and facilitate community-wide learning while capturing the public's imagination. Specifics on the NC activities are outlined in Annexes to which they apply.

Contract Type FiledJanuary 28th, 2021This Umbrella Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement" or "Umbrella Agreement") shall be for the purpose of sharing NASA technology to a new untapped community for a twofold purpose: 1) Connecting the NASA technology to startups that could commercialize the technology for the betterment of life on Earth and 2) to potentially mature NASA technology that could be used for the commercial space market. Through this partnership, the Founder Institute Space Tech Accelerator program will empower early-stage space entrepreneurs to build leading Space companies by providing expert mentorship. The program will be congruent to the Silicon Valley Founder Institute program, so that all participants receive the full benefits of the Founder Institute program in addition to added support through the vertical. Company founders will receive access to NASA Ames' resources, including technology licensing opportunities through NASA’s Technology Transfer office.
