Contract Type FiledApril 4th, 2013Fellowship Programs in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (FMIGS) are intensive two-year training endeavors preparing the graduate for advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS) expertise. In 2001, the AAGL and the Society for Reproductive Surgeons of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (SRS-ASRM) collaborated to oversee the formation of the FMIGS training programs with a standardized minimum curriculum and a requirement for research. The Council for Graduate Medical Education does not yet recognize the FMIGS.
