THIS SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT AND RELEASE (“Settlement Agreement”) is made and entered into as of the 9th day of May 2016, among the State of Illinois, by the Illinois Attorney General (the “Attorney General”), and Peoples Gas Light and Coke Company (“Peoples Gas” or “Peoples”), WEC Energy Group, Inc. (“WEC Energy Group”), and Integrys Holding, Inc. (“Integrys Holding”) (collectively, Peoples, WEC Energy Group and Integrys Holding are “Respondents”).1
