Contract Type FiledMay 5th, 2020The purpose of these agreements is to ensure the implementation of a free appropriate public education for children with disabilities who are placed in programs by the Divisions of DSCYF (Agreement 1) or are transitioning between school and adult services (Agreements 2 and 3). The Department has prepared and plans to enter into these Agreements as part of its general supervisory responsibility and obligation to ensure services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (20 U.S.C. §1412(a)(11) and 1412(a)(12); 34CFR §300.142 and 300.600) and Chapter 31 of Title 14 of the Delaware Code. The Agreements outline the roles and responsibilities of the participating agencies.
