The BBC Trust and S4C Authority believe that this partnership which we have entered into builds on the redoubtable tradition that both broadcasters have in providing Welsh language services, principally to audiences in Wales. This extended partnership will contribute to ensuring that both organisations can meet their statutory commitments to providing services in the Welsh language whilst also providing for the development of Welsh language broadcast media to provide services which truly meet the changing needs and expectations of the audience.
