This Agreement allows County health insurance participants to have their premiums deducted on a post-tax basis; premiums are normally taken pre-tax, which reduces taxable income. This Agreement also allows employees in bargaining units 19, 22, 30 and 36 who have supplemental life insurance through the County-sponsored life insurance policy, to pay their premiums pre-tax. Employees may use this Agreement to accomplish either or both of these goals.
