This Annex shall be for the purpose of identifying and predicting new enhanced materials formulations with tailored properties for Nissan North America’s (NNA) automotive applications for the development and validation of software tools based on NNA requirements. NNA wishes to leverage NASA Ames Research Center’s (ARC) unique and significant experience in material informatics and predictive computational modeling of materials to develop software for materials informatics and to identify and predict unique material properties and provide recommendations to NNA concerning promising candidates for novel applications based on these predictions. The Annex will result in the development of a new, unique package for materials informatics that will leverage machine learning algorithms and material databases to identify and predict new materials with tailored properties.
