AGREEMENT BETWEEN CARDIFF COUNTY COUNCIL AND CAERPHILLY COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL PURSUANT TO SECTION 101 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972January 13th, 2009
IT IS HEREBY AGREED between Cardiff County Council and Caerphilly county borough Council that pursuant to Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972, and regulations made there under, namely the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Arrangements for Discharge of Functions) (Wales) Regulations 2002 as amended, Sections 13(7) and 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 and any other legislation enabling this discharge, Cardiff County Council shall discharge the function of Caerphilly county borough Council with regard to the investigation and institution of proceedings against illegal money lenders operating in the Caerphilly county borough Council area in accordance with Part III of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
