will hereby forever release, hold harmless and indemnify St. Johns River State College, its agents, officers, employees and successors from any and all claims or causes of action, including claims of negligence, damages, loss, liability or expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees arising out of or resulting from any activity by myself or any agent, officer, employee, successor or assign of myself, resulting from participation in the SJR State College Foundation sponsored Viking 5K Run to begin at the St. Johns River Center on September 5, 2020. I understand that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity that could cause injury or death. I should not enter or participate unless I am medically able and I am properly trained, and by my signature, I certify that I am medically able to participate in this event, I am in good health, and I am properly trained.
