For improving access to finance for the Cottage, Micro, Small and Medium sized enterprises (CMSMEs) in Bangladesh, a contract is signed between the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) and Asian Development Bank (ADB) to implement Second Small and Medium Sized Enterprise Development Project (SMEDP-2) starting from June 2017 to June 2022. The SMEDP2 project is designed to revitalize financing for SMEs in Bangladesh and provide a broad range of support initiatives to accelerate for the SMEs development.
