COMMISSION PRIORITIES:Business Requirement EXPLANATION: For many years, there has been an Interlocal Agreement between Sarasota County Government, Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Sarasota providing for the shared use of the sheriff’s dispatch services and related communications services. This arrangement has been mutually cost effective and advantageous to the public, and allows all consolidated dispatch and communications services to be operated out of the county Public Safety Communications Center.
