The New Mexico Finance Authority (the “Purchaser”) enters into this Bond Purchase Agreement (“Agreement”) with the Regents of Western New Mexico University, Silver City, New Mexico (the “University”), to purchase the Western New Mexico University System Revenue Bonds, Series 2012 in the aggregate principal amount of $12,245,000 (the “Bonds”). The Bonds are issued pursuant to, Sections 6-17-1 through 6-17-19, Sections 6-14-1 through 6- 14-12, Sections 21-3-1 through 21-3-8 and Section 6-21-9, NMSA 1978, as amended (collectively, the “Act”), the Bond Resolution of the University’s Board of Regents (the “Board”) adopted on December 9, 2011 authorizing the sale of the Bonds and the Sale Resolution of the Board approving the sale of the Bonds adopted on March 22, 2012 (collectively, the “Resolution”) in the total principal amount of $12,245,000.
