Science is a “hands-on” class meaning that students are expected to be actively involved with science equipment and materials. Safety in the science classroom must be the #1 priority for students, teachers, and parents. To ensure a safe classroom, a list of rules and guidelines has been developed and are provided below. These rules must be followed at all times. Three copies of this agreement are provided. The teacher will keep one copy, one copy will be kept in the student’s notebook as a reminder throughout the science course, and the third copy is for the parents.
