This EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT, dated as of November 1, 1998, is by and between WAYNE T. HOCKMEYER (the "Employee") and MEDIMMUNE, INC., a Delaware corporation (the "Company") and supercedes the Employment Agreement between them dated as of April 1, 1997. The Company and the Employee hereby agree as follows: 1. Employment. The Company hereby employs the Employee, and the Employee hereby accepts employment by the Company, upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth. 2. Term.
