Background - Because a 911 System has been implemented in Sauk County, it is necessary for the City to enter into this agreement per Wisconsin State Statute 256.35(9). This is 3-year agreement. The Joint Powers Agreement (attached) clearly defines the requirement of said Agreement. This matter was reviewed by the Public Safety Committee Meeting at their January 30thmeeting and they unanimously recommended its approval.
