As a volunteer, under and or over 18 years of age, performing volunteer activities for the City of Pomona, I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of serious physical injury and or death. This Waiver and Release Agreement is intended to discharge in advance the City of Pomona (its officers, employees, elected or appointed officials, agents and volunteers) from any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with my participation in any Volunteer Service Program activities, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of City of Pomona (its officers, employees, elected or appointed officials, agent and volunteers) or any dangerous condition of City property. It is further agreed that this Waiver and Release Agreement is to be binding on my heirs and assigns.
