This Agreement (“Agreement”) shall be deemed effective as of August 15, 2002 (the “Effective Date”), between Winn Telephone Company d/b/a Winn Telecom (“Winn Telecom”), a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Michigan, with offices at 402 N. Mission Street, Suite 1, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan 48858 and Verizon North Inc., f/k/a GTE North Incorporated and Contel of the South, Inc., d/b/a Verizon North Systems (“Verizon”), a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Wisconsin with offices at 100 Executive Drive, Marion, OH 43302 (Verizon and Winn Telecom may be referred to hereinafter, each, individually as a “Party”, and, collectively, as the “Parties”).
