It is the general purpose of this Agreement to promote the mutual interests of the Company and its employees and to provide for the operation of the Company’s plant under conditions which will further the safety and welfare of the employees and economy of operations, and also provide for wage rates and working conditions as well as a procedure for the disposition of grievances arising under this Agreement.
