This document is an agreement in principle which sets out the principles for the introduction of the 777 fleet through the introduction of the Train Manager (TM). This is a new grade in Merseyrail. Both parties agree that a position has been reached that constitutes a full and final offer regarding having a second, safety critical person, involved in dispatch on the train. As a result of this final agreement in principle associated with the introduction of the Train Manager, no employee of Merseyrail will be made compulsorily redundant.
