This Memorandum of Understanding agreement is entered by and between the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Division of Health Care Finance, hereinafter referred to as “KDHE-DHCF” and Franklin County, Kansas dba Franklin County Health Department, 1418 South Main Street, Suite #1, Ottawa, KS 66067, hereinafter referred to as “Contractor”, and is issued to allow the Contractor to accept KanCare applications for KDHE-DHCF and to determine and authorize presumptive KanCare coverage for individuals who meet Presumptive Eligibility (PE) criteria.
