PURPOSE: The purpose of this Agreement is to establish the working relationship between the Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW), as the designated state agency responsible for implementation and administration of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), and the designated grant recipient/fiscal agent of the Local Workforce Development Area (referred to as “Local Grant Recipient”). This Agreement outlines the goals, responsibilities, and obligations of the parties with respect to the administration of WIOA programs, for which federal funds are allocated by DEW to the Local Grant Recipient.
