Attached hereto for your consideration is a proposed standard form Agreement for wireless providers of internet and 5G smart technology seeking to attach their facilities to City poles. The advent of wireless technology and increased interest by wireless service providers to expand their technology by installing their facilities on poles owned by governmental entities, including municipally owned utilities, has resulted in a need for the City to further define and manage what may be allowed on its poles to ensure the public health, safety and general welfare of its citizens.
