(“AFD”); AMERICAN FUNDS SERVICE COMPANY (“Transfer Agent”); CAPITAL RESEARCH AND MANAGEMENT COMPANY (“CRMC”); and the AMERICAN FUNDS INSURANCE SERIES (the “Series”). Capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the same meaning assigned to them in the Agreement.
