With the Ambition 2039, Mercedes-Benz is aiming for CO₂ neutrality in less than 20 years. In doing so, our company takes the entire value chain into account, including partners and suppliers. Our supplier network plays a crucial role in achieving climate protection goals. For example, the production of a fully electric vehicle generates significantly more CO₂ than that of a conventional vehicle with a combustion engine. This is primarily due to the lithium-ion batteries used.
