The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (hereinafter referred to as “FAO”) and the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) (hereinafter referred to as the “Service Provider”) (together hereinafter referred to as the “Parties”) have agreed that the Service Provider will provide certain services defined in detailed in the attached Annex 1 (the “Services”) which forms an integral part of this Letter of Agreement (hereinafter the “Agreement”) in support and follow-up activities of the REDD+ Readiness Roadmap process in Pakistan, including REDD+ Readiness Preparation Proposal (R-PP) development. The Service Provider will work in close coordination with the Office of the Inspector General of Forests (OIGF) in its capacity as the national focal point for the UN-REDD Programme, in accordance with the Aide Memoire between FAO and OIGF (attached as Annex 2 of this Agreement).
