Contract Type FiledJanuary 13th, 2017What is now called the Fox Site has changed physically from a small bend in the Clark Fork River along the long established trail used by Native Americans to hunt on the east side of the continental divide to now one of the largest pieces of developable riverfront property in Missoula’s urban core. It has also changed in importance to the community from being its first large landfill to being a key part of the now highly valued downtown riverfront. Along the way the Fox Site was occupied by a large movie theater (Fox Theater), restaurants, and vehicle fuel and repair businesses. At this time, the site is a major part of a proposed development will become a new central location for community activities and commerce.
