Mississippi State University Libraries (“Publisher”) is pleased to offer publishing services to [ORGANIZATION] (“Publishing Partner”) by serving as the publisher and electronic distributor for the publication of [JOURNAL NAME] (“Journal”) and providing to it the standard functionality for browsing, search, and retrieval that we provide for publications branded Mississippi State University Libraries. WHEREAS the parties desire to promote effective scholarly communication that enables effective and local control of intellectual assets, this Memorandum of Understanding (“Agreement”) defines the duties and responsibilities of the Publisher and the Publishing Partner and the with respect to the publication of Journal and the Publishing Partner’s use of the no-fee Open Journal Systems (“OJS”) software. This journal management and publishing system is hosted by the Publisher, or its successor and assigns, and made available to the Publishing Partner through the Publisher.
